EQUIPMENT:

My boat, “The Flats Meow II”, is a 23′ Dorado, center console, open fisherman with a full tower, dry storage area, dual steering stations, coolers, trolling motor, and is powered by a 200 hp Yamaga four-stroke motor.

SERVICES:

I furnish the license, all bait, tackle, water, and ice.

We use quality light and medium spinning tackle with 10 lb. to 14 lb. test braided line, on 7-8 ft. rods.

When fishing for Tarpon, we use 30-40 lb. test braided line, on spinning and/or casting rods.

TYPES OF BAIT

We use live bait most often.

  • Pinfish
  • Sardines
  • Threadfin herrings

Artificial baits consist of soft plastics on lead jig heads.
